Westville is located in east central Illinois in Vermilion County about 5 miles south of Danville and Interstate 74 and about 10 miles west of the Wabash River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,276, a decrease of 111 since 1990.Nearby recreation includes trips to Kickapoo State Park about 10 miles to the northwest and Middle Fork SFWA located about 15 miles northwest of town.
