Located southwest of
Mt. Morris, White Pines Forest State Park features the southernmost stand of native white pines in Illinois. It is noted also for its vine-covered limestone bluffs. Concrete fords span Pine Creek, allowing cars to drive through the flowing stream.
The White Pines Forest State Park provides hiking, fishing, camping, bicycling, picnicking, and modern lodge facilities.
