Wyoming is located in western Illinois in
Stark County about 20 miles northwest of
Peoria along Highway 17 just east of the
Spoon River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,420, a decrease of 42 since 1990.
Outdoor recreation includes trips to Rock Island Trail State Park about 5 miles northwest of town.
