Angola

Angola is located in Steuben County (of which it is the county seat) north of Fort Wayne on Highway 20 just off Interstate 69.

Angola was platted on June 28, 1838 by Thomas Gale and Cornelius Gilmore. It was first incorporated as a town in 1866 and then as a city in 1906.
