Located on West Third Street, this is a two-story four-room Greek Revival style building where Dr. William D. Hutchings practiced medicine from 1882 until his death in 1903. The building served as the first and only hospital in the Ohio River Valley between Louisville and Cincinnati until 1889. Soon after Hutchings' death his office and hospital were closed and left untouched until 1967.
The restoration is noted for its completeness. No item dates from after 1903.
