This Court House building is the county's third and was built in 1904-1906. The previous court houses were a wood frame building built in 1840 and later a brick structure built in 1858. The present building features a hand-laid mosaic tile floor, a stained glass dome, hand painted murals depicting country scenes, and the nation's only surviving original GAR room. The
Huntington County museum is housed in this building and featured exhibits that tell the history of the county.
