Located on West Main Street, this museum is in the renovated Riley Old Home, where Indiana's poet laureate was born in 1849 and spent a lively childhood. His most celebrated poems addressed these experiences and later inspired the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and the 'Little Orphan Annie' comic strip.
The house next door chronicles the poet's life with displays of his works, period antiques and photographs.
