Kendallville is located in Noble County north of Fort Wayne along Highways 3 and 6 near the Gene Stratton Porter State Historic Site.
There are several lakes located near Kendallville including the beautiful Bixler Lake Park. A 527-acre lake with 2 guarded swimming beaches. The lake is surrounded by hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, and children's playground areas. The gazebo is a delightful place to have lunch, or camp at the adjoining park campground.
