Logansport is located in
Cass County (of which it is the county seat) northwest of
Kokomo along US Highway 24 on the banks of the
Wabash River.
Logansport is positioned in the center of Cass County. The city is served by five major highways (US Highway 24, US Highway 35, State Highway 25, State Highway 29, and State Highway 17) that provide convenient access from any direction.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 15,831, a decrease of 1,034 since 1990.
