Sullivan County Community Hospital is a 37-bed acute care facility located on the north side of Sullivan, Indiana. Their hospital offers a variety of outpatient services including, but not limited to, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, laboratory services, outpatient surgery, respiratory therapy, radiology and emergency room. Inpatients may either be admitted to the Medical/Surgical, Intensive Coronary Care, or Obstetric units, where their caring nursing staff will ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Sullivan County Community Hospital opened at 320 North Section Street in 1918 as the Sullivan County Hospital. In May of 1998, ground-breaking took place for the current facility at 2200 North Section Street, with grand opening ceremonies taking place in July, 1999. The name Sullivan County Community Hospital was adopted in May, 1999 to reflect the service area of SCCH.
