Earl Park Public Library, serving an area of 720 residents, has a collection of 18,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 400 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 160 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public. Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $8,400. Patrons make 3,900 visits annually, and check out materials 5,600 times. Thirty-two percent of all check-outs are children's materials.

North Shore Unitarian Church Art Fair Deerfield IL April27-28 NSUC's annual ART FAIR is a juried show featuring the original works of 65+ talented artists and artisans. The fine art and fine crafts exhibited include photography, painting, ceramics, glass, paper, woodwork, metalwork, jewelry, sculpture, fiber, clothing and mixed media. Exhibiting artists come from Illinois as well as from several surrounding states.
