The church also has dispatched mission teams from within the congregation, paying their own expenses, to such places as Kodiak, Alaska; Haiti; and Weirton, West Virginia, to erect new structures, to repair others, to paint, and to complete a number of construction tasks. Their ministry involves a wide range of educational programs and activities. The purpose of the ministry is to provide Christian growth opportunities for all ages in a variety of traditional and creative ministries.
