Winner of the Ulster Tourist Development Association's Heritage Attraction of the Year 1997. This wonderful farmhouse museum was the birthplace in 1839 of John Ballance, Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1891 to 1893. Indoor and outdoor displays celebrate Ulster's links with New Zealand. Guided tours including: audio-visual presentation and the restored 1850's parlour; visual arts gallery; tea room and shop; orchard. Open Apr-Sep, Tue-Fri 11am-5pm, Sat & Sun 2pm-5pm, Public Holidays 11am-5pm and other times by appointment.
