The Dingle Peninsula is in County
Kerry in southwest Ireland, jutting westwared into the Atlantic Ocean. The Gaelic language is frequently heard in the area. The town of Dingle is on the western, seaward end.
Tralee is at the eastern end on Tralee Bay on the north side of the peninsula. Dingle Bay is on the south side.
