Down Country Museum is located in the old county gaol of Down. With fascinating exhibitions on the history of Down, and the story of St Patrick as well as restored cells, it's a must for all the family. The museum also has an extensive programme of special exhibitions and events and an award winning school's programme. Opening December 1999 - major Millennium exhibition - admission free.
