The only Irish Standard Gauge working Railway Museum, housing steam & diesel locomotives, century old carriages, rebuilt signal cabin and engine shed. The station is 150 meters from the St. Patrick Centre. The railway operates every Saturday and Sunday in July & August and the First two weekends in September. The railway currently operates over 1 km of track, and it is planned to open an extension to Inch Abbey during 2001. Footplate experience courses are available, where you can drive a steam locomotive for a day.
