This area of the upper Blackwater Valley is fertile rolling land with large trees, streams, woods and glens. The River Blackwater, only three miles away, is the premier river in the south for salmon and trout fishing. A private country house, Glenlohane is not a hotel or professional guest house. There is no reception desk or public bar. Rather it is a very comfortable home that takes guests by pre-arrangement. There are three twin bedded and one double bedroom available to guests. For special bookings, there can be two doubles and three twin rooms. All bedrooms have their own shower and/or bath.
