Founded in 1930, Headfort Golf Club is an 18-hole mature Parkland Course, situated one-half mile to the south of the heritage town of Kells in in [ymeath]. The Championship course which measures 6007m with some of the finest specimen trees in the country has hosted PGA championships and Inter-Provincial Championships in recent years. Tuesday of each week is designated as Ladies Day at the club and trollies are also available for hire. A new spacious clubhouse was opened in 1994 and has full bar and catering facilities.
