Founded in 1903 in a magnificent sylvan setting at a superb location where the cascasding water of the Sheen and Roughty Rivers join the Atlantic waters of Kenmare Bay. The course was developed over the years by dedicated local golfers. Recent finanical backing from Sheen Falls Lodge, Park Hotel Kenmare, Kenmare Bay Hotel and Bord Failte together with the undoubted genius of Ireland's most experienced golf architect, Eddie Hackett has succeeded in creating an 18-hole course which can be very exacting for a great player, but never unfair to the weak. Par 71.
