Lough Neagh is a lough (lake) in
Ulster Province Province,
Northern Ireland. It is the largest lake in the
British Isles, extending 18 miles from northeast to southwest with an average breadth of 11 miles. The Bann River is the outlet to the north, emptying into the Atlantic Ocean, and the Blackwater, the Upper Bann, and the Main are its primary sources.
The lake touches the counties of County Londonderry, County Antrim, Down, Armagh, and Tyrone.
