Lough Gur 16 miles from Limerick City introduces visitors to the habitat of Neolithic Man on one of Irelands most important archaeological sites. There is an interceptive centre that tells the story of mans presence 5000 years ago in Lough Gur. Open daily from May to September from 10.00am to 6 p.m.
