A elegant country situated among the beauties of West Mayo. Adjoining the town of Newport, overlooking the tidal river and quay, Achill Island and the mountains of Mayo and the splendours of Erris and Connemara. All the reception rooms are spacious and appropriately furnished. The bedrooms have individuality as well as comfort. Twelve are in the main house. The others are in two smaller houses near the courtyard, one of which was previusly the holiday residence of the late Sean Lemass, Prime Minister of Ireland. Some bedrooms are well suited for families, as they are in self-contained sections.
