The City of "Native Stone"

Population: (2000) 797. Elevation: 1,095 feet. Located on State Hwy-99, just south of US Hwy (Interstate)70. A major cross-roads for early settlers. Alma is an incorporated city and the county seat in Wabaunsee County. Situated along Mill Creek, a tributary to the Kansas River.

Nestled in the beautiful Flint Hills, Alma is a stable community, surrounded by fertile farmland and bluestem grasslands.
