Eureka is located in
Greenwood County (county seat & largest town in the county), in the
Central Region of the state. East of
El Dorado along US Hwy 54 and on the banks of the Fall River near
Fall River State Park and Woodson State Lake & Park.

El Dorado State Park are also nearby.
Deactivated in the 1970's the town is on the Atchison, Topeka & SantaFe and the Missouri Pacific railroad lines. The Eureka Depot, built in 1917, is being renovated at it's origonal site.
