Located in Brown County in the Northeast Region of Kansas between Atchison and Hiawatha on Highway 20. Population 2000: 314 Elev. 1150 feet.

Everest is east of the Kickapoo Indian Reservation. The nearest rivers to Everest are the Delaware Riverto the west and the Missouri Riverto the east. The UP railroad maintains tracks near or through this town.
