Kingman Kansas

Founded: 1872, Population: 3387, (2000), Elevation: 1550.

Located in the South Central Region of the state, in Kingman County, (Kingman is the Kingman County Seat), west of Wichita. A major regional cross-roads, Kingman is along US Highway 54 and on the banks of the South Fork Ninnescah River, (Part of the Lower Arkansas River Drainage Basin), near Kingman State Lake & Park.

Built on both sides of the Ninnescah River, they have an ideal location for the lovely Riverside Park and the Activity Center, locations for many of our town's activities including the Freedom Fest, Kingman Cattlemen's Rodeo, Horse and Mule Sales, the Kingman County Fair and more.

The economy is largely agriculture based, plus a number of manufacturing, retail, and service businesses, with more room to grow.
