Founded: 1874, Population: 306 (2000), Elevation: 2270 ft. Lenora is located in southern Norton County, just south of Highway 9.

Most of the town is on the south side of the Solomon River. The town site slopes up from the river with the schools on the ridge above town. There's a nice little downtown park & gazebo and Larrick Park, the town's largest, is down near the river and railroad.

In addition to an attractive location, Lenora is blessed with a strong Agriculture economy.
