Chetopa City Library

Chetopa City Library, serving an area of 1,260 residents, has a collection of 31,000 books and periodicals. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $5,600. Patrons make 5,200 visits annually, and check out materials 10,500 times. Thirty-eight percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
