Quivira National Wildlife Refuge |
The refuge provides habitat for a variety of species of migratory waterfowl and other wildlife, including endangered species of whooping cranes. The best times for wildlife viewing are spring and fall. The refuge covers more than 21,000 acres including Big and Little salt marshes, a portion of Rattlesnake Creek and other wetlands. Boating and camping are not permitted.
