Founded: 1887 Population: 321 (1990), Elevation: 1445 feet. Sylvan Grove is located in western Lincoln County northeast of Wilson Lake along Highway 181 and on the banks of the Saline River. The largest community nearby is Salina. An attractive town. Over two-thirds of the businesses on the main street are located in limestone buildings. This is the heart of post-rock country.

Get to Sylvan Grove by taking exit 209 from I-70 and proceeding north 12 miles, or by at the crossroads of K18 and K181 and heading south a mile. Flyers will find a 24 hour airport just 10 miles away in Lucas, Kansas.
