The Safari Zoological Park was established in 1989 for the purpose of saving endangered animals and is home to lions, tigers and bears, jaguars, black leopards, alligators, lemurs, and baboons. It conducts camps on summer where campers can enjoy swimming, water volleyball, basketball, presentations on endangered species, and sunset safaris. It offers camp sites, cabins, and RV hookups. Zoo is available for corporate parties, family reunions, church groups, and retreats.
