Walnut River Drainage Basin

Located in the South Central Region of Kansas, running from north to south and comprised primarily of two counties. The counties are; Butler County, Cowley County in the Central Region.

The minor river basin or watershed in the Walnut River Drainage Basin is comprised of the four branches of the Walnut River. This basin also includeds the famous "Kaw" Lake in Kay County and Osage County, Oklahoma.
