Marymount is a 76-bed general, acute-care hospital that provides a full range of medical, surgical and obstetric services. Its primary service area covers a population of 50,000 in Laurel, Jackson, Clay and Whitley counties.
Over the years they have grown from having thirty beds to a 100 bed acute care facility. As the population in Laurel County and surrounding areas have grown, so has the need for more comprehensive services to provide the needed care. With the direction and assistance of Catholic Health Initiatives, Marymount will continue to serve the people of Southeastern Kentucky.
