Kentucky River Medical Center

Founded in 1988, Kentucky River Medical Center (KRMC) is the only hospital serving a four-county area. Emergency room visits average about 1,000 per month. Services at this 55-bed, acute care hospital include: surgery, critical care, radiology, laboratory, cardiopulmonary, physical therapy, and a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency room. With 13 physicians on active staff and 30 on consulting staff, their medical staff is the strongest in the hospital's history.
