Butler Greenwood Bed & Breakfast

This is an English-style plantation house still run by descandants of the original owners. The house, built in 1796, has a formal Victorian parlor furnished with guilded French pier mirrors and Louis XV rosewood pieces. Surrounded by more than 100 oaks on 50 acres, the formal gardens date from the 1840s and are one of the few existing antebellum gardens in the state. The home is open for tours with a small admission is charged. The Butler Greenwood Bed & Breakfast have seven private cottages with plenty of historic charm that are scattered around peaceful plantation grounds. Each include private baths, jacuzzis, kitchens, porches or decks.
