The restaurant was founded in 1976 to serve classic French food in New Orleans, and was renamed the French Table after a remodel in 2000. The restaurant is divided into four dining rooms - the main Dining Room, two small private dining areas, and a large banquet room. The atmosphere is sedate, the decor traditional and the service impeccable.
