The plantation style home was built in 1990-1991 by your hostess, Madeline Nevill, on her family land, part of the original Barrow family plantation dating from 1795. Madeline's family has been entertaining guests in the St. Francisville area for more than 200 years, and you're invited to be a part of it all.
A beautiful, marked nature trail leads to a nearby spring in the valley from which Green Springs takes its name. Many windows look out onto the forest of mature oaks, dogwoods, bea utiful magnolias and naturally landscaped grounds.
Green Springs Cottages are five, beautifully renovated, and tastefully decorated, historic "shot gun" houses. The Marigold and the Woodrose each feature king size bed, double whirlpool bath, fireplace, a quaint kitchenette and a quiet little porch.
