Henderson is located in St. Martin Parish within the Cajun Country Region, between Lafayette and Baton Rouge along the Bayou Des Glaises River on Hwy 352 near Breaux Bridge. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,609, an increase of 66 since 1990.
