Over 110 years old, and long since the days of being a brewhouse, Jackson Brewery has endured as a great landmark in the City of New Orleans. Designed and constructed by German-born and educated architect Dietrich Einsiedel in 1891, the Brewery was the largest independent brewery in the south and the tenth largest single-plant brewery in the country. Today the building is no longer a brewery, but the view is still intoxicating. Located in the heart of the French Quarter, Jackson Brewery offers four full floors of stores, kiosks, restaurants, bars and cafes.
