The Kisatchie Ranger District is located in southwest
Natchitoches Parish, with the Kisatchie Bayou, the Red Dirt National Wildlife Management Preserve, and part of the Peason Ridge Wildlife Management Area in the district. For recreation there are the Kisatchie Bayou Campground, Dogwood Campground, Red Bluff Campground, Lotus Campground, Coyote Campground, Corral Campground, Custis Campground, Cane Campground, Oak Campground, Kisatchie Hills Wilderness, and Longleaf Vista.
