Lake Veret

Located in the south central part of the state about 9 miles east of Napoleonville and 2 miles south of Pierre Part. It is approximately 14,500 acres in size and is 2 miles wide and 11 miles long. It is an open lake free of obstructions and is available for fishing and recreational boating. There are only two boat launches directly on the lake but can be indirectly accessed by two other launches.
