This State museum houses murals, dioramas and displays depicting Louisiana's history, agriculture, industry, natural resources, wildlife and recreation. A gallery presents works of local artists and changing exhibits. The museum is opened from Tues.-Sat. and holidays from 9-4:30 and closed on Jan.1, Thanksgiving and Dec. 25. The admission is just $ 1.00.
