Today Richardson Medical Center employs over 250 full and part time employees and consists of 49 beds that include a four bed Intensive Care Unit. The hospital has a long list of services it provides to their rural community. These services include in and out patient surgery, lab, a complete Radiology department including nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT scanning, mammography and other routine diagnostic services. Richardson Medical Center also houses an Adult Specialty Unit which specializes in geriatric care and an Occupational Therapy Department with in and out patient services. In addition, Richardson Medical Center is proud to have an Emergency Room with 24-hour coverage and an on-site heliport for emergency transports. Our surgery department specializes in General and Vascular Surgery, Endoscopy, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, and Urology.
