This plantation has a raised cottage of Greek Revival design. The cypress and brick house has exterior galleries trimmed with wrought iron. The rooms are furnished in period and contain art collections, crystal, silver and pottery. The grounds have remarkable old oaks, formal gardens and cottages for overnight guests. Buildings on the grounds include a chapel, a blacksmith shop and a commissary museum.
