Kirchberg is a borough on the near northeast side of Luxembourg City. It is home to many pan-European institutions. The Kirchberg European Center houses the European Parliament during the three months that it is in session each year. The Robert Schuman Center and the Hemicycle complement the K.E.C. The Court of Justice of the European Communities is located nearby. A castle known as Trois Glands (Three Acorns) looks out across the Alzette river on the Bock and the rest of the Old City.
