Upper Sure National Park

The Sure was dammed in 1961 near Esch-sur-Sure, forming the Upper Sre Lake (Staudamm) which is now part of a national park. Swimming, sailing, and windsurfing are popular activities. The dam also provides hydroelectric power and drinking water to the surrounding communities.
