Barrington Stage Company

Founded in 1995, Barrington Stage Company (BSC) has been offering high quality drama and musicals to the residents of Berkshire County and the adjoining tri-state area.

As an adjunct service, BSC offers a state-licensed nursery for children 2 to 8 years, free tickets for younger students and half-priced tickets for students 14 and older.

In 2000, BSC initiated a theatre program for youth at-risk, and later a Playwright Mentoring Project (PMP) in Sheffield, in which professional playwrights and artistic mentors work with high school youth at-risk. The success of the PMP encouraged its expansion to another location, in Pittsfield.
