Boston College is among the oldest Jesuit Universities in the state of Massachusetts. The high-ranking college contains eleven schools and college, including the College of Arts and Sciences, the Lynch School of Education and Graduate School of Education, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Nursing, and Social Work, the Law School, the School of Nursing, and more.
The campus encompasses 115 acres, and has trolley access to Boston. The college has aimed to increase financial aid for students, add more faculty positions, fund new construction, and plan a student center and humanities building.
Boston College contains two campuses, the Main Campus and the Newton Campus. The Main Campus is located on the Charles River, adjacent to the historic Back Bay district of Boston.
