This link between Buzzards Bay and Cape Cod Bay was designed to save an average of 135 miles of coastline travel around the tip of Cape Cod.

A reception area in the field office on Academy Drive offers closed circut television and radar views of the canal and a scale model of the area. Visitors can walk or bicycle the paved paths along the Canal.
