College of the Holy Cross |
Established in 1843, the College of the Holy Cross is an exclusively undergraduate liberal arts college that embraces a Catholic, Jesuit identity. Holy Cross is nestled in a 174-acre campus on a picturesque hillside of the city of Worcester, just one hour from Boston. It has won five national and international awards for excellence in architecture and landscaping.
Almost all of the more than 200 full-time faculty hold doctorates or terminal degrees, and serve close to 3000 students. Approximately 1000 courses are offered each year. Average class size is 20.
